What is Plastic Surgery?
Plastic surgery is also called aesthetic plastic and reconstructive surgery. It includes both aesthetic and reconstructive. In short, plastic surgeons carry out their professions under these two headings.
About 10 percent of cases are plastic surgery. Aesthetic surgery includes eyelid surgeries, tummy tuck, breast lift, reduction, augmentation, facial aesthetic surgeries, fillings and medical interventions to the face.
When we say plastic surgery, the first thing that comes to our mind is plastic surgery, but plastic surgeons mainly deal with hand injuries, facial injuries in traffic accidents, bone fractures on the face, serious burns and serious tissue losses in the body as a result of accidents and skin cancers.
